Burnaboy is quitting twitter after being dragged by social media Users




Burna Boy has announced that he is quitting Twitter again, hours after being dragged by social media users for being “too proud and arrogant”.
Recall that the singer was slammed by Nigerians after categorically saying that Reekado Banks who signified interest in a “battle of hits” with him, was an unworthy challenger.
Reacting to the backlash that trailed the Twitter exchange, the singer stated that “if what Nigerian twitter said about me had any effect on me then he would be dead by now”.
Burna Boy who insisted that his last tweets were his “last personal tweet ever”, stated that he is too real for the social media platform.
He tweeted;
“If what Nigerian twitter said about me had any effect on me then I would be Dead by now. There’s even a Yoruba saying that translates “He who says the truth won’t even find a mat to sleep on”. well Ive proved that to be WRONG. You Can’t take nothing from Me.
This is my Last personal tweet Ever. I Imma just leave this app cuz apparently I’m too real for it. Everyone please use this COV-19 times to really find out what your true purpose in this world is, train your mind and Body to the fullest, get Closer to the Most high n ur Family.

49 strippers, clubbers and Imam apprehended in Lagos

Seven inter-state buses with 95 passengers billed for night travel have been impounded by police in Lagos just before they took off, the command said on Sunday. The buses were discovered around 8pm on April 21 in the Bhojson area of Ebute Metta preparatory for departure for Benue, Abuja and Ilorin, spokesman Bala Elkana said in a statement. Elkana said drivers and passengers were charged to court, adding that they were among 620 violators arrested in one week from various parts of the state and charged to court for violating restriction order. Others included the Imam of Sheik Central Mosque, Mile 12 Ketu, Suleiman Abubakar, alleged to have held evening prayers (Maghrib and Isha prayers) in the mosque with a large number of worshippers on April 24.
